Who Are We?
The Liturgical Abuse Watch (LAW) is a lay organization created in 2025 with the mission of ensuring the integrity and reverence of liturgical practices within the United States. LAW was founded both to educate parishioners as to the problem of liturgical abuse and to provide a structured, supportive process for reporting and addressing such concerns. We seek to raise awareness of liturgical issues and ensure that liturgical practices conform to Church teaching and discipline. We focus on the Novus Ordo, not because it is somehow inherently "irreverent," but simply because 99% of Catholics attend a Novus Ordo parish. LAW fully assents to Church teaching, including the Second Vatican Council.
